  3. Edit the menu navigation

Edit the menu navigation

To edit the menu navigation of your web portal, you need to navigate to structure > menus > main navigation via the administration toolbar (menu).

After clicking on main navigation you can see all menu items available in your web portal main navigation. You can add new menu items and edit already available menu items.

Add a new main navigation menu item

To add a new menu item to your web portal navigation, click the add link button. You can add the menu name and URL in the appropriate fields and click save to add your menu item.

Move the position of a menu item in the main navigation

You can easily move the position of menu items by moving them up or down (drag & drop).

Create a submenu item in the main navigation

To create a submenu item, you first need to add a menu item as explained above. Once the menu item is available in the list, you need to drag the menu item just below its main menu item and move it to the right. I will become an inset of the main menu item.

Enable or disable a main navigation menu item

Via the main navigation overview, which you can access when you navigate to structure > menus > main navigation via the administration toolbar, you can easily disable or enable main navigation (sub)menu items. Select the Enabled check to show the menu item in the main navigation or deselect the Enabled checkbox to hide the menu item in the main navigation.

Edit the name of your project portal

Upon instantiation of your project web portal, the name of your project will be set to display in the top left corner in the header section, left from the main menu navigation, and in the footer. The acronym and/or full name will use the primary site colors.

To edit this text, you navigate to website settings in the navigation toolbar (menu) and select site settings. You will be able to edit the site name and slogan. Click save configuration to save your changes.
